The day I jumped from a 60-foot cliff, was also—I realized later—the day I jumped into my purpose.
I was aiming for the lake below, and despite hitting most targets I aimed for in life, that day I missed, in a major way. I fell short of the the lake, and landed on my feet on a rock. I heard the bones snap—fifteen ended up broken-—as I crumpled down the rock into the lake. I tried to tread water, and grab onto the slippery rock. But I could barely move any of my body, and I started sinking. Fortunately, a boat had been watching the whole thing and came by to pick me up. If that boat hadn’t been there, I wouldn’t be alive writing this right now.
At age 21, being visited by my parents at the hospital (instead of at the morgue) I realized that I was here for a reason. Because there was no reason why I should have lived; by every rational measure, I should have been dead that day. I’ve been religious all my life, but I felt a lot of guilt and shame about not being good enough in God’s eyes.
This experience made me feel God’s grace: despite all my failures, and all the times I’d let God down, He had me here for a reason.
Before that experience, I had been traveling all over Europe and South America, trying to find myself, and figure out what purpose God had for me. That jump made me find myself, for sure! I decided it was time to stop running around everywhere searching, and instead to slow down and see what was right in front of me: my family, and my father’s work, which had already been so impactful for me.
As a young boy, I had seen how powerful my father’s healing process was for himself. He had been very throughout my childhood, until he discovered his own path and healed himself when I was around 7. In high school, I had terrible health and debilitating brain fog myself, due to what turned out to be heavy metals toxicity. Following my father’s protocols, including powerful detoxing and a perfect diet, I healed myself as well.
I knew my father’s work needed to be spread farther into the world. His social media was not being run effectively, so I stepped in and started promoting him on social media. There was such a fantastic response, I saw a need and an opportunity to take it even bigger: The Pompa Program.
I told my father: “People need your work. And there’s no way for everyone who needs it to get it. Not everyone can afford to work with you personally, and so many people need i. If you don’t scale yourself, then this works will die with you, whether you like it or not. Let’s create a program that scales your work to the world!”
My father went for it. Over six months, we filmed the course, and I helped build up a sales and coaching team. The Pompa Program launched in April 2020, and it was an overnight success.
I’m a creator. Whether it was organizing all my siblings to build a tree house when we were kids, to getting all my friends into my Minecraft server business as teens, to building up the Pompa Program now, I love building. I love creating efficiencies, and better ways of doing things. I love elegance and beauty in business. I don’t just want to us turn a profit. I want us to be proud of the work we put out, and proud of the difference we’re making. Fortunately, working with my wonderful family and colleagues at the Pompa Program, and with our amazing, courageous clients who are creating better lives for themselves—we have reason to feel proud every day.
Like all of us in my family, I saw my father go through a severe illness, and I saw his whole journey towards health and healing. As a child, my own heavy metals toxicity was off the charts—specifically lead. I suffered from many challenging symptoms, particularly brain fog, problems sleeping, and poor energy. Fortunately, I was able to implement the detox protocols my father developed as he healed himself. Through these efforts, I was able to clear the brain fog, regain energy, and sleep like a rock at night.
I’ve seen, experienced, and talked with many of the people that we help, and it’s so inspiring how their lives change. So much of the medical, health and wellness information out there doesn’t get to the cause of why people are sick; it focuses on covering up the symptoms. I know for a fact that what we do at the Pompa Program doesn’t just cover symptoms up; it heals people on a deep level.
For that reason, I have a passion for getting our message out there. My father’s goal is to bring this message to the world, but he could not help everyone he wanted to reach when he was focusing on seeing clients one-on-one. Now we are bringing his information to the general public. I’m so proud of the team that I support and manage as chief operating officer. Together, we are delivering the best product and information that we can to help as many people as we can.
There are multiple chapters and characters, and at the time I had no idea that it was being written. It started with my wife, who had been suffering from a chronic health condition (IBS) since her teenage years. Just a few years ago her problem was completely resolved by a plant called moringa. The fact that a multi-decade health issue was remedied so easily (by a tree I might add) astonished me. Western medicine had no real answers; it only chased the symptoms. It was at that moment that I realized the power of nature and God. Needless to say, I was intrigued to learn more and started devouring all the information I could about natural health. It was during that time of studying that I came across Dr. Pompa when a friend encouraged me to take a look. Well, I did and never looked back! What he was teaching was everything I was searching for and more!
Having a bachelor’s degree in business management from Purdue University, I was in manufacturing for twenty-two years, reaching the level of vice president of an industrial supply company. I started working at Pompa Program, but only part time because I really enjoyed my work in manufacturing, and it was a lucrative career that I didn’t think I’d ever leave. However, once I saw what was happening through Dr. Pompa and this organization, I knew that I had to join it full time. It felt like divine intervention, for sure. Yes, I could have stayed in my comfort zone, but you know what? There is no growth in your comfort zone. So, I decided to jump directly out of it and into the unknown. This was my time to grow more as a person and provide more value to the world.
As I mentioned, there are many chapters and characters that play an important role in my story and I’m so ever grateful to be here! There are so many ailing people out there that are confused, lost, and discouraged. Doctor after doctor has been giving them prescriptions for their symptoms, but not addressing the real underlying issue. At the Pompa Program, we don’t just put band-aids on symptoms, we work to help figure out what’s interfering with optimal health, reduce or remove it, and let your body’s innate intelligence take it from there. I feel so proud of the impact we’re having as a company already… but the impact we’re capable of having in the future is beyond our wildest dreams!
I truly live, eat, sleep, and breathe cellular healing every single day.
While this is me now, I haven’t always been this way…
I was fortunate to be raised by parents who valued natural health during a time when that was incredibly rare. They were this way because none of their parents lived to see their 60s. All struggled with lifestyle and metabolic diseases – heart disease, cancer, and diabetes took their lives way too soon. So my parents vowed to never get sick and let us lose them way too young.
Fast food, soda, and processed foods – staples in my friends’ homes – were banned from ours. I never had a single cavity, and baking soda and vinegar were common cleaning supplies. Seems like a pretty easy way to dodge future health issues when growing up in this environment, right?
Well, there were some hidden sources that did not become visible to me until later in life. My parents had at least 30 amalgam fillings between the two of them and grew up in very toxic environments (as the first born, I came into the world with high levels of mercury and lead), I had a botched wisdom tooth extraction as a teenager, and was on several rounds of antibiotics year after year for chronic UTIs and strep throat that consumed my entire childhood.
However, it was after my own pregnancy followed by a very traumatic childbirth and postpartum period – the perfect storm for me – that I realized I had some work to do! I lost my menstrual cycle for years, my hair fell out, I was skinny fat (I was a metabolic disaster), and my hormone labs looked like that of a 70 year old menopausal woman.
Learning Dr. Pompa’s strategies, such as his 5Rs, and 3-Legged stool, as well as implementing his cellular detox and feast/famine Diet Variation strategies completely transformed my health and my life. I realized then that I needed to teach others the same strategies that saved my own life.
I have been working with Dr. Pompa for several years, producing and co-hosting his popular podcast Cellular Healing TV, and supporting him at his live events, talks, and in his practitioner training. When he conceptualized Pompa Program, I begged him to let me help him publish his protocols (decades of his experience finally compiled onto pages) and bring me on as a Health Coach. In a short time, as demand for the program grew exponentially, there was a clear need to grow our coaching team, so I transitioned from coaching our clients to hiring and coaching our coaches! I’ve realized my true love is teaching other coaches, and under Dr. Pompa’s guidance, we can touch as many lives as possible.
When clients join Pompa Program, many are coming from a very emotionally fragile place, because they’ve hit several roadblocks in their healing journey. They’ve tried everything and no one has been able to help them. They’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars on things that didn’t work or made them more sick. They’re skeptical, and I can understand why. Honestly, these are my favorite kind of clients to help, because I know that our program is going to be *that thing* that finally turns their health around and gives them their life back. Seeing clients start to have hope that they can get better, to actually seeing some healing, is the most rewarding part of my work.
When I’m not working (and let’s face it, what I do everyday never actually feels like work), I am doing all of the things I talk about and encourage our clients to do; cooking healthy food, shopping at my farmers’ market, and connecting with nature in the Northern California redwoods where I live. While I am an advocate for a wellness-focused lifestyle, I also strongly encourage balance – enjoying the occasional glass of natural wine, a pedicure, and chocolate chip cookie (organic, of course). ;)
My greatest passion of all is health, and I’m so blessed that I get to make my passion my work, and help bring it to the world through supporting our rapidly-expanding team of Pompa Program coaches. Through Dr. Pompa’s work, and the work of our coaches, I’m passionate about providing tools that empower clients to be their own biggest advocate for health.
